Ghanaians successfully complete 10,000km drive from Accra to London

Wanderlust Ghana, led by Kwabena Peprah, set out on an unique cross-continental road trip, covering over 10,000 kilometers.

The wide range of charities and tourism enthusiasts began their journey in Accra, Ghana, and traversed various African countries and European locations, making it a remarkable journey from one continent to another.

Richard Anim, Kwadwo Saka, Kwame Peprah, and other members of the group of 12 explorers set out on an adventure to raise money for remote primary schools in Ghana through their nonprofit company, EduSpots. Their journey through Ghanaian cities, the border into Cote d'Ivoire, and the countries of Mali, Senegal, Mauritania, and Morocco before crossing into Spain served as a display for the varied landscapes and temperatures of both Africa and Europe..pe..

Using an array of vehicles, including a Mercedez Benz G-Wagon, Toyota Landcruisers (V8), Lexus RX 350, and a Ford F150 Raptor, the team covered an average of 800 to 900 kilometers per day, documenting their journey through social media videos. Nana Afua Serwaa, nicknamed "Shecanic," a skilled auto repair technician, joined the team to master automobile mechanics across different landscapes and climates.

Despite facing challenges along the way, such as brake pad changes and encounters with local authorities, the adventurers were impressed with the beauty, cleanliness, infrastructure, and friendliness of certain countries, notably Senegal and Morocco.

The expedition's final goal was to engage with the Ghanaian community and the Ghana High Commission in London to support their philanthropic endeavors. The journey served as an inspiring example of human determination, exploration, and the desire to make a positive impact on underserved communities.

Throughout their epic road trip, Wanderlust Ghana demonstrated their adventurous spirit and commitment to philanthropy, leaving a mark on the hearts of people across the continents.
